China Supplants U.S. As Foremost Pain In The Ass

China Supplants U.S. As Foremost Pain In The Ass
President Hu Jintao addresses the American public on China Central Television to offer his condolences.

BEIJING (CAP) - Results from the Annual Survey of World Leaders have been tallied, and for the first time in 34 years, the United States is no longer the world's biggest pain in the ass, handing that title over to the country of China.

"We winner! We always know we better than United State and now world know!" said Chinese president Hu Jintao as he popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate the occasion. "Who better than United State? We better than United State!"

The five-page questionnaire administered by Gallup, Inc. covered a variety of topics ranging from civil rights and economic stability to shoddily manufactured trinkets and shattered dreams of wealth and prosperity. Pollsters say the iLSQ Indicator was the deciding factor.

"China's international Laughing Stock Quotient has always been high, but this year it was off the charts," said Gallup poll analyst Harold Silver. "For example, my daughter just got a pair of the new Nike Born To Die sneakers and the stitching on the logo is already coming loose.

"Maybe China needs to lift their one-child policy to add some depth to their work force," Silver added.

The White House released a statement expressing satisfaction with the favorable results, noting that "for once, it's good to be the runner-up" but that the country still has progress to make. President Obama entered the press briefing room with a giant foam number two on his hand and decked out in a t-shirt with "I'd rather be #2 than step in #2" emblazoned across the front.

"It's, uhh, a marathon and not a sprint," Obama told reporters. "It's, uhh, a full feature film and not a movie trailer. It's a long metaphor and not, uhh, a short simile.

"It's a testament to the hard work of each and every American to strive to make this a great country in which to live," Obama added. "Plus as long as we continue to muzzle Joe Biden, we have no choice but to improve."

North Korea rounded out the top three, its highest showing in five years. North Korean officials said they planned to launch another nuclear test to help cement that spot and would be firing off a few missiles "to nowhere in particular" in celebration.
