Charlie Sheen Enjoys Quiet Afternoon In Home Rehab

LOS ANGELES (CAP) - Troubled actor Charlie Sheen has completed hand-picking his team of addiction experts, personal therapists, and individual needs coordinators to put together a treatment plan for drug addiction help as he undergoes rehab at his Los Angeles home.
This news comes on the heels of the 45-year-old star's refusal to enter a traditional residential drug treatment facility, opting instead for a new at-home model which allows him to essentially tele-rehab. Sheen's father, actor Martin Sheen, has expressed concern over whether his son is truly committed to altering his partying lifestyle.
"Charlie's idea of an addiction expert is Andy Dick," said the elder Sheen. "In fact, the two of them were 'in session' from 11 last night until about six this morning. The individual needs coordinator's primary responsibility is to score blow and make sure the liquor cabinets are stocked.
"I just don't have much confidence in this treatment model," Sheen added.
Charlie Sheen's brother, Emilio Estevez, was also skeptical of the plan, specifically calling into question the qualifications of the professionals with whom Sheen has surrounded himself.
"Three of his personal therapists told me they had auditioned to be in my movie, The Mighty Dicks," said Estevez. "I had to tell them I was never in that movie. I sort of wish I was."
In response to the public concern over the validity of Sheen's at-home rehab plan, personal therapist Ruby Rose released a statement earlier today, defending the positive work being done in Sheen's Hollywood home. She noted that Sheen is partaking in group therapy at least three times per day with her and two of the other girls.
"It's hard, I mean unless he's like really drunk, but it's our job," said Rose. "We want to make sure Charlie's getting the help he needs. So long as his checks clear, we're available to help him work through this, no matter how long it takes.
"And sometimes, when you're that far gone, that's a really long time," Rose noted.
Sheen is the star of the CBS hit sitcom Two And A Half Men, the shooting for which has been put on hold during the star's absence. While CBS executives have expressed their support and relief that Sheen has entered rehab, rumors have swirled that the show's cast and crew are angry and frustrated with the current situation. One CBS employee, who asked not to be named, confirmed that the situation among the cast had grown tense.
"Yeah, people are pissed. Charlie used to hook us up with some seriously good shit," said the employee. "Now that he's not on set, we've got to get our own. Angus is especially disappointed; he looked up to Charlie, you know, like a role model.
"In fact, Charlie had promised to buy him a blonde at his next party," added the source. "Now how's that kid supposed to get laid? He feels really let down."
Seventeen year old Angus T. Jones co-stars with Sheen and Jon Cryer. His publicist declined to comment.
