Bush Spotted Working During The Weekend

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (CAP) - Reports out of the capital city of Pakistan say that numerous witnesses are confirming allegations that President Bush actually worked this weekend. Washington was at a loss to explain those reports.
"Maybe he got confused crossing over the International Date Line," said White House spokesperson Scott McClellan. "I mean, we have to pre-set his watches whenever he changes time zones, so it's possible."
Despite the widespread word of Bush's weekend activity, few were able to describe exactly what it was he was doing that made what he was doing work. Washington was at a loss to come up with a better explanation.
"Yeah, a lot of times we have no idea, either," said McClellan. "Especially when he's just staring off into space and he tells us he's not daydreaming; he's resting his brain."
McClellan said that due to the stress and taxing nature of having worked for a sixth day in one week, the President would commence a five-week vacation beginning on Friday. McClellan said the President plans to clear some more brush from his Crawford, Texas ranch and possibly work on his cricket game.
"It was a very successifying trip," Bush told reporters upon his return to the United States. "Islamabad? No, Lama is good. Lama is very good."
